Drop off your used books in the front lobby at the PTO Table any time in September, and join us Friday, September 25th after school for $0.50 book shopping! Clean out your shelves and make room for your new finds! Let’s continue supporting our early readers love for books by providing another resource to get exciting books accessible to them!
Canned Food Drive Kick Off
We invite students and families to donate nonperishable food items to ensure everyone can enjoy a warm meal during the holiday season. Every donation, big or small, teaches our students the importance of kindness, generosity, and helping neighbors in need. Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community!

Dining Night Out: Society Pie Pizza
Join us for our first dining night out of the year! Society Pie is a small, family-owned pizzeria, new to the Downtown Hillsboro community!
They recently opened their new location at 142 SE 2nd Ave.
Society Pie generously will donate back to Jackson 18% of ALL sales from 4-8p (dine-in, takeout, and delivery).

Principal Coffee Chat & Coffee Cart Day
Join Mrs. Marshall and bring your questions, concerns, constructive feedback, share your kudos, and have an opportunity to discuss openly. This will take place monthly year long and we will be pairing them with PTO’s Coffee Cart mornings- so stay and chat with some coffee provided from the PTO.
Donations and volunteer help always welcome and appreciated.

HSD Family Connections Day
Watch for a phone call from your new teacher introducing themselves and to learn about your child. This is a time to share your excitement for the new year, as well an any concerns you may have.
Campus Clean Up/ Beautification Day
As we get ready to welcome students back for another amazing school year, we’re coming together to give our campus a little extra care.
Mom's Morning Yoga
Join Morganic Wellness as she offers a free class for Mom’s to take a minute for yourself to move, breathe, and reset. All levels welcome.
Kids are welcome to join, and if yoga isn’t their thing they can play nearby while we practice.
Bring: Yoga Mat, any props you love (blocks, blanket, strap, etc.), water, your kids!
Location: Jackson Elementary playground grassy area.
